Outsider art is a label typically applied to art created by those outside the boundaries of mainstream art culture, most often lunatics, the incarcerated, the long-term unwashed, and numerous other varieties of drooling miscreant and malefactor.
Alternatively, in Dungeons & Dragons, "outsider art" can refer to art created by beings not native to the Prime Material Plane, such as Aasimar, demons and devils, although comparatively few of these take an active interest in the visual arts.
